Do I have to return the jar every time?
No- you can keep every jar if you like, though you won't receive the $5 credit towards your account by returning empty jars.
Is shipping included?
Yes- a return label is included with every mason jar purchase.
What if I lose my return label or selection card?
Write to us at info@427coffee.com, and we can replace one or both as needed.
Can I change my roast every time?
Absolutely- we include a selection card so you can choose any one of our dozens of origins and roasts, as well as blends. Or you can visit the website and purchase more at any time, with or without your credits.
Do I need to return the lid?
The lid rings are reusable, so it would be helpful to return them, but it is not necessary. If the one-way valve insert is returned, it will not be reused but will be separated and recycled.
Is this program environmentally friendly?
Yes! By reusing the mason jars, we are reducing the amount of single-use package waste. Also, the shipping boxes can be reused multiple times, an added benefit to the program.
How do mail-back returns work?
Once the jar is empty, simply place it back into the original shipping box, use the provided return label to cover up the one used to send the box to you, and place the box into your mailbox. Just that easy. Once it's received back at 427, you'll be credited $5 to your account to use at your leisure.
Can I gift the mason jar?
Yes! The mason jar o' beans is a great gift! And if the recipients return the jar, you still get your $5.
